Lady shriners The Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, also known as LOSNA, are bound by their goal to promote sociability, good fellowship and the betterment of all ladies connected with the organization. Women Impacting Care, chaired by Shriners International’s First Lady, is a thoughtful group of women donors, supporters and advocates who have bonded together to help highlight services and programs of Shriners Children’s. They include Daughters of the Nile (DON), The Ladies' Oriental Shrine of North America (LOSNA) and The Shrine Guilds of America. These organizations include: Ladies’ Oriental Shrine of North America Ladies’ Oriental Shrine of North America was founded in 1914 to extend good fellowship among families of Shriners. This year, First Lady Judy Burke has chosen to focus on Shriners Children’s mission to provide life-changing care to Shriners International partners with numerous organizations that are open to women, Shriners’ spouses, widows and female relatives of Shriners and Masons. [19] Both are for women only and they support the Shriners Hospitals and promote sociability. Shriners' ladies have the opportunity to enjoy the same camaraderie and purpose through several independent organizations that women who are related to a Shriner are eligible to join. We further contribute to the Daughters of the Nile Foundation and the Canadian Foundation, both dedicated to benefiting Shriners Children’s™, thereby extending our support to those in need. Daughters of the Nile was founded in 1913 and is open to ladies 18 years of age or older, who are related by birth or marriage to a Shriner, Master Mason, or Daughter of the Nile; or a Majority Member in Good Standing of a Masonic-related organization for girls; or who was a patient, with or without Shrine or Masonic relationship, at a Shriners Hospitals for Children. .
