Edelrid sendero vs jay Mar 26, 2020 · I just got a Sendero a couple weeks ago. First impressions are good though. I was debating between the Sendero, DMM Renegade 2, and Wild Country Mission. Their Sendero harness is another winner which excels in a most areas. The front four gear loops are stiff for easy access to your draws and gear. Those crazy folks at Edelrid even kept a small “haul loop” on the rear of the harness, so there are five and a half gear loops. I do mostly gym and sport climbing, so strongly considering the jay, but would love input from yall as to which is most comfortable, or any weird features you don't like. The Sendero is now set to become Edelrid's top line standard adjustable… Together with the enlarged upper tie-in point, this enables simpler tie-ins and offers greater overall comfort. I'm looking to buy a new harness and am stuck deciding between the petzl adjama, edlerid jay III and edelrid sendero. The O-shape of the JAY makes it particularly ideal for climbers whose waist and hips are of a similar size. Pretty impressive.
